Why sequence matters

The upfit can affect the vehicle decision.

Storage, equipment, body style, access, dimensions and operating use should be considered before the vehicle is finalized—not discovered after purchase.

  • Help clarify intended requirements
  • Coordinate questions between dealer and vendor
  • Sequence acquisition and vendor scheduling
  • Reduce communication handoffs
  • Confirm compatibility through the appropriate vendor
  • Coordinate graphics with the broader timeline

Coordination process

Keep the specification, dealer and vendor aligned.

01

Define the work

Document intended use, equipment, storage and graphics requirements.

02

Validate the vehicle path

Ask qualified vendors to confirm compatibility before final decisions.

03

Acquire the vehicle

Source and negotiate the right vehicle through the dealer process.

04

Sequence the vendors

Coordinate timing and communication with the chosen third parties.

Clear role boundaries

Coordination, not installation or engineering.

Simplified Auto helps organize requirements and communication. It does not design engineered systems, certify compatibility, install equipment, apply graphics, drive vehicles or transport them between locations.

Third-party work stays third-party.

The client contracts with and pays the selected vendor directly unless a future written arrangement explicitly states otherwise.

Upfit FAQ

Know who does what.

Does Simplified Auto install shelving or racks?

No. Qualified third-party vendors perform all installation work.

Can you guarantee an upfit fits the vehicle?

No. Compatibility and technical requirements must be confirmed by the appropriate dealer, manufacturer or qualified upfit vendor.

Can you coordinate wraps and graphics?

Yes. We may coordinate timing and communication with an independent graphics provider, which performs and bills for the work.

Who transports the vehicle to the vendor?

Dealer delivery or an appropriate third-party logistics provider may be coordinated. Simplified Auto does not drive or transport client vehicles.
